 What's Happening in First Grade?

Ask your child the following questions to hear all about our learning last week!

 

Writing: 

• What did you learn about your animal during research writing?

Reading: 

• What happened in the story, "Emmanuel's Dream?"
• Can you read the following long vowel words?

Vocabulary:

• What do you know about the words trade, persuade, lunge, and earn?

Math:

• Are these shapes congruent or incongruent?

Things to Know:

• 100th Day is THIS WEEK!

• SOMERSET SOCIAL:  This weekend is the LAST CHANCE to get early-bird pricing on your Somerset Social tickets!

• The Somerset silent action is an adult-only social event and the school’s annual fundraiser. There will be food and appetizers, cash bar and a LIVE BAND! The Billee Jo Hall Band will be playing all your favorites throughout the night. You will have the chance to bid on donated items, services, and events. 100% of the proceeds are used for educational and enrichment programs, resources and equipment for the students.
