- We started a unit on Poetry. As part of this unit, students will listen to a variety of poems and vote for their favorites. In addition, students will learn about different types of poetry. This week the students learned about Acrostic Poems and wrote their own.
Social Studies Update:
Our Scholastic News was “Hanging Out in my Habitat” which focused on how tiny frogs survive in a rainforest habitat.

Rain, snow, heat, cold…It’s hard to know what kind of weather to expect this time of year! Thank you for helping your child select the right gear for being outside at recess every day. If it is wet outside, please send boots with your child as the playground gets very muddy. This helps keep our classroom carpet clean! Thank you!
