Comparative Endings -er and -est

Good evening!

Today, students learned how they can use -er and -est to compare different things. Our spelling words this week also use the same word endings. While the students really seemed to grasp the idea, there are still some tricky things that we need to know in order to spell the words correctly. If your child is having trouble with these words, I created a short video tutorial using Educreations.com to help! (It may help you, too! I struggled with explaining this at first!)

Busy Bees!

Happy Weekend!

I hope you are having a relaxing Sunday. Here are some photos from the last couple of weeks. We we SUPER busy and had a great time! Take a look:

On our 100th day, Mr. Tinjum came in to teach another lesson on kindness. What a great way to celebrate our 100th day!

We learned that 10 pieces of 10 different items will give us a total of 100 snack pieces!

Jump Rope for Heart: We jumped in honor of our dear friend Ed Helgesen. Our community worked hard to earn money for the American Heart Association. We earned (drumroll, please)...
