Quarter 1- Hybrid was fun while it lasted!

 Good evening, first grade families.

I am sure by now you have read the news that elementary students in ISD197 will be moving to remote learning starting the week of November 23rd. While it saddens me that I will not be able to see our Stars in-person for the foreseeable future, I know that the district is making the difficult decision in order to keep our families and community safe.

To celebrate all of the awesomeness that has been happening in the classroom, enjoy these adorable photos of your Stars in action!

**Disclaimer: Per CDC guidance, students were kept at 6 feet apart for all learning activities. In only special circumstances, they could get closer while wearing masks. Close-contact is considered only if students are within 6 feet for 15 cumulative minutes. These photos were taken during the limited time in which we tried to make school feel more "normal." :-)

Don't fret families...Just because we are moving back into distance learning DOES NOT mean that the learning and fun stops. We've got this!

Be well, take care.
