Weekly Update: 10/9-10/13

Things to Know:

CONFERENCES: THANK YOU to those of you that attended conferences on Thursday! I enjoyed getting the opportunity to meet and discuss your child's progress and goals for the year. Our next round is on Monday. I'm looking forward to meeting with the rest of you!

FALL HARVEST FUN: You're invited! Let me know if you'd like to help with a station. :-) The more, the merrier!

STAY HEALTHY! It's that time of year...Colds and sniffles are all around and hand-washing is more important than ever! In addition to the common sniffles, we have had strep floating around our room for the past few weeks. Please take time to review some little tricks of the trade for keeping healthy:



LAST WEEK:

  • MATH: 
    • How did you use dominoes this week in math?
  • READING:
    • What "reading buddies" did you meet this week? How do they help you figure out tricky words?
  • WRITING:
    • What friend did you write about this week?
  • SCIENCE:
    • Can you tell me about the volcanic rocks you saw in Science?
    • How did you sort your river rocks?
