We had SO much fun on Halloween last week. Please take a look at the pictures below to see what we did:
We kicked off our day with a kindergarten and first grade costume parade!
For sharing time, we had a fashion show to show off our costumes! The paparazzi (aka me) took photos of each student for their memory books.
Library time!
Students enjoying the IMC tree house!
For math, we collected data! Students interviewed their friends to find out which costumes and candy are their favorites!
We practiced our sight words by playing a game of sight word "pumpkin" bingo! Students even created their own bingo boards to practice writing the words.
Party time! Students playing with pumpkin spice "play-doh!"
Cookie decorating!
My mother, Nancy Holgers, stopped by to be our mystery reader!
Boys playing "Witch Hat Ring Toss"
Another game: Witches' Stew!
Showing off their cool face paint!
Students could even get temporary glitter tattoos!
Our craft: Creepy Popcorn Hand!
Pumpkin Bag Toss!
Our attempts at a class picture :-)
Nothing wraps up a busy day like a good read aloud! We read Pumpkin Soup!
Whew! What a fun day! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to all of the parent volunteers that helped contribute to the success of this party! It would not have been nearly as special and successful if it wasn't for you!
Have a great day!
:-) Mrs. Brignac
