Weekly Update: June 1-4

Things to Know:

Spring "Field Trip" After lamenting about how fun end-of-year field trips are and how hard it is that we can't truly do them this yera, us first grade teachers decided to get creative. On Tuesday, June 8th, we will be taking a walking field trip to a nearby park for a picnic! Your child will need a bag lunch for this trip. Permission slips will be coming home TODAY- June 1st. Please return by Friday!

I-Pad Chargers: If you used a charger for Distance Learning, please return it when you can!

Friday Fun: June 4th: As part of our countdown to summer, your child is welcome to bring a game to play with his/her classmates! Please be mindful of ease of play and remind your child that it is his/her responsibility to take care of all the game pieces. :-)

Baby Hour and Momma Minute: We've been talking a lot about time in first grade these days, and in case you've been wondering "Who on earth is Momma Minute and Baby Hour?" This is what we're talking about!

Today we learned another trick about these two in order to help us know how to write digital time.

"One thing we know about Mommas is that they ALWAYS put their babies FIRST!" :-)
