Things to Know:
IT'S PARTY TIME: Let's start the new year off right! Our class has been working SO hard. I am happy to report that we have earned yet another Marble Jar party for TOMORROW! Students voted and chose a "Toy Party" where students are invited to bring ONE toy to play with and share in the fun with other students. These parties are great because it is an opportunity for students to share their interests while interacting with one another. Please note: Please work with your child to ensure the toy is nothing too valuable, large, or able to be broken apart into tiny little pieces that could get lost along the way. Thank you! If your child forgets a toy, I will have plenty of games and activities around to choose from (as will classmates)!***NOTE: To promote social play, please refrain from sending any electronics. Students may get the opportunity to have a "Technology Party" later in the year.
**CHAPERONES NEEDED!** MINNEAPOLIS INSTITUTE OF ARTS: We will be visiting the MIA on Thursday, January 10th from 9:30-11:30 a.m. If you are interested in chaperoning this event, please let me know! We'd love to have you come along!
MYSTERY READERS: We have had SO much fun with our Mystery Readers this year! There are still PLENTY of slots open, so spread the word! We love to have parents, grandparents, aunts/uncles, cousins...all of our classroom family's special friends for a visit! Please click THIS LINK to sign up!
