Weekly Update: 12/11-12/15



Things to Know:

PAJAMA/COZY DAY! On Wednesday, we will be having a PJ/cozy day to celebrate our last day of school together in 2017. Time to bust out those holiday jammies! :-)



FREE E-BOOKS OVER BREAK: Capstone Interactive is offering FREE ACCESS to over 3,500 e-books for the duration of the holiday season! To find the webpage, go to the Somerset Databases page and look for the Capstone logo (under Tumblebooks). The login information is right there! Happy reading!





SNACK: Thank you for sending your child to school with a snack each day! As you pack a snack for your child, please consider packing one small, healthy snack. As we have a lot of little hands in the room, please also consider a snack that can be easy to manage and clean up. Thank you so much!




MINNEAPOLIS INSTITUTE OF ART: We will be going to the Minneapolis Art Institute on January 11th from 9:30-11:30 a.m. We will be going with our 3rd grade buddies and are looking for 4 parent chaperones to attend. If you are interested, please let me know--We'd love to have you join us!


DOUBLE STARS FOR WINTER BREAK! Let's keep the motivation to read moving even while school is not in session! Students can earn double stars on their star charts for the remainder of the month. Woot!
