Silly Videos We Watch

Hello, Families!

Each week, we have so much to learn at Somerset! One of my jobs as a teacher is to make sure that learning is not only engaging, but that it also meets the needs of all of our learners- no matter their learning style. For social learners, we have partner and small group activities. For our kinesthetic learners, we try to incorporate movement into each topic that we learn about. For our aural and visual learners...well, we watch silly videos! Here are some examples of silly youtube videos we've watched this week:

We learned how to count doubles! We practiced doubling 0 to 5 on Monday:

On Tuesday, we practiced doubling numbers 6-10:

We also studied VERBS! Students moved and grooved as they learned that a verb is an "action word" through this rap:

Enjoy!
