Weekly Update: 5/6-5/10

LAST LIBRARY CHECKOUT: Our last library checkout will be the week of May 6th (Where did the time go?!?). Please round up any library books that may be hiding in your homes. All books are due to our library by May 17th. Mrs. Garrett works really hard to make sure that our library catalog is up to date and that our shelves are stocked with amazing books for our stars! Speaking of our library.....

SUMMER LIBRARY DATES: You can visit our library over the summer from 10-11 a.m. on JUNE 26 and AUGUST 5th! 

BOGO BOOK FAIR: This week is our annual buy one, get one FREE book fair! Here are the hours for the fair:

-Monday: 2-6pm
-Tuesday: 7:15-11am, 2-6pm
-Wednesday: 7:15-11am, 2-6pm
-Thursday: 2-6pm
-Friday: 7:15-11am

*Our class will be visiting the book fair on TUESDAY morning and each child will receive a $5 credit toward a book! :-) Woo-hoo!

SAVE THE DATE: It is a tradition at Somerset to have a special presentation to show off the amazing learning that has been happening due to the hard work of our Stars. First grade classes will be sharing our non-fiction animal reports in the months of May and June. Our class' special presentation will be on MAY 23 from 10:00-11:00 a.m.
